About me:
I joined Evolve in Feb 2024 to develop the Engineering offering across the UK, Europe and US. Following the completion of a BSc in Biological Sciences, I worked for 4 years as a Microbiologist in a sterile Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility before moving in to Pharmaceutical Equipment Sales and eventually into Recruitment where I have been since 1999.
I focus primarily on sourcing engineers and other technical personnel for the Pharmaceutical, Life Science, Medical Technology and FMCG market sectors. During my time in Recruitment, I have supplied Permanent, Contract and Interim personnel to Life Science companies ranging from small start-up Biotech businesses to Global Blue Chip Pharma companies and everything in between.
Over the years I have developed a comprehensive appreciation of how and why Engineering forms an essential part of the drug development and manufacturing process which allows me to fully understand my client’s requirements, enabling me to secure the best available talent in the market place.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family which includes a very bouncy Cocker Spaniel. I have also taken part is several (very silly) charity events over the years including Parachuting and Sky Diving, Bungee Jumping, cycle rides, The 3 Peaks Challenge, open water swimming and a 100km walk (in 24 hrs) around the football stadiums of Northwest England!
