Join a niche Medical Devices organisation with high quality Urology and Stoma Care products and a first-class home delivery service! Our client is in search of an empathetic, enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join their Stoma Care team. Working at the University Hospitals of Leicester, you will deliver high quality, evidence-based care to all patients who require surgery, and who have or may require a stoma – both within the hospital and the community setting.
This position is a fixed term contract on a part time basis, working 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday). 

Requirements for the Nurse
Registered Nurse (NMC Registered).
Newly-qualified Nurses with experience working in general nursing (ideally on wards) will be considered.
Colorectal or Stoma background (or specialist knowledge in the care of the colorectal surgical patient) is desirable.
You must be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development and demonstrate commercial awareness.
Flexible to meet patient and service needs.
Ability to plan, implement and manage own time effectively.
Ability to interrogate data and formulate advice, plans of action and reports.
Confidence to present a positive image of self and the Company Computer literate.

Role Responsibilities for the Nurse
Reporting to the Colorectal Nurse Manager, you will deliver safe and effective patient-centred services, which meet national, regional, and local requirements for patients with a colorectal cancer and other related colorectal disease.
Support the development of the nursing service to achieve person-centred care.
Provide clinical expertise within the specialist area of colorectal cancer and other related colorectal disease.  You will also ensure the co-ordination of patient care across the clinical pathway in conjunction with the multi-professional team.
As an important member of a larger team, you will be comfortable with independence as your day-to-day activities will be carried out autonomously.
Maintain excellent clinical and professional standards of work, be self-motivated and able to work to set objectives.
