Are you in search of a new and exciting sales opportunity in a challenging yet rewarding industry?
If so, our client is seeking an ambitious and driven Area Business Manager to promote a unique portfolio of patient handling products into key NHS customers across South Thames and South East England across to Bristol. The position will also involve product training and aftersales support.
Ideal Requirements
Ideally you will have a strong sales background in the Medical Device industry.
Thorough knowledge of NHS operations
Ambitious, hungry, and driven attitude.
Ideally career longevity.
Experience of training or presenting to groups would be ideal.
Ability to analyse data and highlight trends.Role Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Analyse the market, develop an effective territory/account sales strategy, and present the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.
Perform all activities to maximise sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction, presentation, and trial to closing and contract negotiation.
Manage product mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims.
Use customer and prospect contact tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provides relevant reports and information.
Record, analyse, report, and administer according to systems and requirements.
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Maintain and acquire new product, technology, market, sales tool, and process knowledge.
Identify and address all key decision makers (clinical, administrative /economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all accounts and reports on them to the national sales manager on a regular basis.Role Specific Competencies
