Evolve is recruiting for an independent Pharmaceutical company with pan-European presence. Our client is seeking a self-sufficient Key Account Manager to promote their leading Biosimilar product to key hospitals across Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a brand-new territory for our client on an initial 12 month fixed term contract!
Ideal Requirements
Demonstrable Key account management experience and proven sales success within the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the NHS (devolved nations as appropriate), including healthcare systems, networks, and priorities.
Biosimilars or Rheumatology experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Demonstrate business planning capability and can formulate business proposals.Role Responsibilities
Delivery of sales targets specified in the account plans in order to achieve increase in sales and volume MS growth.
Gather account and customer insights, profiling customers within Veeva CRM to inform customer and account activities.
Build a regional / national account plan utilising environmental data, market, and customer insights in order to create a bespoke plan that is aligned to the brand strategy. Demonstrating a shared agenda with HCPs and adding value.
Leverage the capability across the organisation to co-ordinate resources in order to meet the goals of the account plan and to build long term customer relationships as well as meet short term business goals.
Monitor and keep pace with the environmental changes across KAM territory and NHS (including devolved nations where appropriate), mapping external stakeholders and influencers to ensure prescribers and patients have access to medicines and devices.
Identification and mapping of the different pathways of care, including shared care, homecare provision and funding pathways.
Engage with accounts across NHS systems to support the design of pathways and services to optimise access to medicines and devices.
Provide qualitative insights to marketing team to shape the development of assets and brand propositions to support market access and add value to NHS customers.Role Specific Competencies
