Description

Evolve is recruiting for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join a market-leading Ophthalmology organisation!
This position will be responsible for increasing the market awareness of our client’s innovative products and driving new sales opportunities into Pharmacies across South Central and the South Coast of the UK.

Essential Requirements
You will have at least 1-3 years’ experience working within Pharmacy sales or OTC markets.
Recent graduates in a science subject with a keen desire to enter the medical sales industry may be considered.
Educated to degree level, preferably in a Life Sciences, Technical or Business-related subject.
Competent in using Business Software e.g., CRM system, Expenses, Excel, PowerPoint.
Able to work in a fast, dynamic, multicultural and matrix structure. Drive, energy, maturity, and ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
Ideally located around Reading or Swindon area.
Current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities
Deliver quarterly and annual territory targets in line with Pharmacy/OTC budget expectations.
Improving all Pharmacy staff knowledge in the product portfolio and disease areas. Working strategically with the Pharmacy team to highlight and educate towards favourable pathways and protocols.
Utilises marketing collateral effectively and provides feedback to the marketing team.
Work closely with the UK Sales Management to improve networking opportunities.
Gain access to Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants and Buyers, and influencers in the practices in the relevant territory.
Increase market share in Pharmacy arena in line with company objectives.
Conduct sales presentations to customers in a range of formats. 
Uses strong commercial acumen to identify and develop opportunities within Key Accounts.
Partners with customers to develop joint business plans highlighting revenue generating potential for their business.
Use promotional materials in an appropriate fashion to support the selling messages for as set out in marketing plans.
