Join a friendly independent pharmacy group with several branches across the West of England.
Our client is seeking full time and part time Pharmacists to join their stores in Bristol:
Pharmacist Manager working 4 weekdays (9am to 5:30pm) and alternative Saturdays (9am to 1pm) – based Bristol (BS36).
Part time Pharmacist working 3 days per week (9am to 6:30pm). Working days are flexible and no weekends are required – based Bristol (BS15).These are great opportunities for excellent training and career development, and are suitable for newly qualified Pharmacists to kickstart their career in a supportive community pharmacy, or experienced Pharmacists looking to step into management.
Essential Requirements
Professional and competent GPHC accredited and registered Pharmacist.
Master’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
Ability to manage relationships with the medical centre staffs, including GPs.
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Excellent communication skills as you must be able to listen carefully patients, and as be able to explain complex and sometimes sensitive information to the general public and other healthcare professionals.Role Responsibilities
Dispensing Prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.
Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting GP’s orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles, and prescribing errors.
Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, labelling medicines.
Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.
Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Dispenser’s workflow, verifying their preparation, and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals, counselling patients on drug therapies.
Undertaking medicine reviews (MUR’s) and other advance services to help patients.Salary & Package
Up to £25.00 per hour depending on experience.
